WETATi Academy, in partnership with WETATi Next Gen. Nyumburu
Cultural Center, University of Maryland College Park will acknowledge, celebrate, highlight, and award those who have made a difference in
their respective works and or walks of life. Nominations for national or international achievers are welcome.

Achieving The impossible: Diplomatic Leadership (International only)

This individual imagines and works towards innovative ideals they accomplished through devotion. his/her efforts have reached an international level of impact, leading to an unconventional future place.

Achieving The impossible: Visionary Leadership

This individual works towards and imagines goals accomplished with innovative ideals that lead to an unconventional future.

Achieving The impossible: Intersectional Entrepreneurship

This individual took the adversities and lack from his/her life to create opportunities and fill a lack in the market place.

Achieving The impossible: Dynamic Education

This individual understands and implicates the importance of practical paired with the classroom and challenges the norm of learning.

Achieving The impossible: Lifetime Achievement

This individual has encountered hurdles and hardships on their journey through life but never let anything stop them from accomplishing.

Achieving The impossible: Pivoting Philanthropy

This individual need to contribute to the welfare of others has become a turning point of change for the better, for those in need.

Achieving The impossible: Luminary Trailblazing

This individual dares to create a new, inspiring, and exemplary path despite obstacles swaying their ventures.

Achieving The impossible: Corporate Citizenship

This corporation or individual steadily contributes to the betterment of society through means of philanthropy, activism, volunteering, charity and or ethical practices with corporate support.

Achieving The impossible: Pathfinder Pioneering

A person who steadfastly journeys through the exploration of discovering the undiscovered, adapting to changes, and producing, through experience, a new perspective.

Achieving The impossible: Narrative Changing

This individual rejects the historical oppression of their demographic or circumstances and produces a significant shift in the matter.

Achieving The impossible: Eminence Influencing

This individual holds superiority for practicing their capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of any entity, including themselves, creating progressive change.

Achieving The impossible: Women Empowered

This female uses her uncommon courage and determination as means and ability to overcome adversities in her life and achieve the impossible

Eligibility:

To qualify for this award, the nominee must demonstrate outstanding commitment through supporting, encouraging, and motivating others directly or indirectly through example. The contribution of their efforts or services as an individual , corporation, or group must be a demonstration to the community through actions such as trailblazing, persevering, volunteering, leading, philanthropy, and all the like. If selected:

Nominees must be able to receive the award in person.
Must be able to prove involvement with a minimum of 5 years prior to nomination.
Show proof of nation residency.

Criteria:

For your nominee to be considered please be able to provide the following applicable information in written form

Evidence, details and description of specific true achievements accomplished through the nominee’s efforts
Evidence, details and description of time, effort and commitment in national/international communities
Evidence, details and description of career achievements, i.e. length, tenure background, experiences, milestones, and results.
Evidence, details and description of individual’s leadership and gull that is effective, impactful, innovative, and exemplary

Outside of the U.S.

Nominations are accepted till Monday, April 15th, 2024.

The selected nominees will be awarded in person, at the University of Maryland, College Park at the Stamp Union, Colony Ballroom. For more information click here.
