Membership is open to all corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations that are interested in supporting and changing the economic narrative of the next generation through entrepreneurship education for the “low to moderate income youths” in our schools and communities.
WETATi Academy is a non-profit community based educational and economic empowerment organization. It is a center for creative thinking Leadership and Entrepreneurship located at, and in partnership with, Nyumburu Cultural Center, University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland; and Bowie State University Entrepreneurship Academy and School of Science, Physics, Mathematics and Nursing.
WETATi Academy works with many partners across sectors in the entrepreneurial start-up and development space; the primary program focuses of WETATi Academy entrepreneurship education and training. WETATi Academy leverages public and private resources through collaboration/partnerships to implement and impact youth entrepreneurship. Therefore, WETATi Academy seeks the collaboration and partnership of socially conscious and responsible companies or organizations.
To achieve our mission of “changing the narrative, creating your own opportunity’, WETATi Academy provides entrepreneurship education; encourages innovative thinking; teaches business leadership skills; and equips and empowers the next generation and millennials to visualize and create their own financial freedom. This is achieved through practical experiential entrepreneurship education, competition and training.

REFUNDS
We’re Empowered to Achieve the impossible and/or Women Empowered to Achieve The impossible (WETATi Academy) does not issue refunds under any circumstances. Any and all payments made to WETATi Academy are not refundable for any reason, including, without limitation, unforeseen circumstances, failure to use credentials due to illness, acts of God, travel-related problems, loss of employment and or duplicate purchases.
EXPRESS AND IMPLIED AGREEMENT OF PARTICIPANTS IN ALL WETATi PROGRAMS
All participants in WETATi programs authorize use of their images, photos, voices, etc. for WETATi promotional purposes. This authorization by participants is granted without requirement for further consideration, contact or permission.
WETATi is the owner all materials on this website, including images, logos, photos, sounds, text, and design layout, unless otherwise indicated. These materials may not be copied, reproduced, transmitted, distributed, downloaded or transferred for commecial use or reproduction in another website without WETATi’s written consent.
RELEASE & IDEMNIFICATION
Please note that by attending this convention and Gala, or any other event hosted by WETATi, you give consent to WETATi, its agents and other associates and partners to photograph, film, videotape, and then reproduce and use on websites, in social media, publish in advertising, commercials and/or for any other purposes without further notification. WETATi reserves the right to use these photographs, films, and videotapes from these events in any legal manner as WETATi may see fit, with or without further communication with you or any other parties, and you release WETATi and its agents, successors, assignees and licensees from any liability pursuant to this subject matter in consideration for attending.
