  1. How do I register and enroll in the program as a New Student?

  3. When does the Practical Entrepreneurship Program start?
    • September 20, 2022; however, if you register and enroll after the start of the program you will still be able to access the missed sessions by logging into the Dashboard.
  4. How long is the WETATi Academy program?
    • This is a yearlong program from September to June
  5. Who’s eligible for the classes?
    • 6th – 12th grade and college students.
  6. How many hours per week?
    • Practical Entrepreneurship Education (P.E.E.) sessions are a 1 hour per week from 5 – 6pm EST.
    • Weekly Microfocus Practical Enrichment assignment timing is at the student’s discretion.
  7. Is it virtual or in person?
    • It’s 80% virtual and 20% practical.
  8. What does 20% practical mean?
    • Each grade has an independent weekly Microfocus Practical assignment to supplement each session. These microfocus are usually in person, hands on assignments.
  9. I have already registered at my school. Do I also need to register on the WETATi Academy website?
    • You need to register and create a username and password at the WETATi Academy website. This will allow you to come back to the website whenever you need to review and complete lessons. It also allows us to track your progress in order that you can be awarded a certificate upon completion. If you have a username and password, and need to log in to WETATi Academy, just click on Dashboard on the menu.
  10. If I have already registered, do I need to register every-time to attend a session?
    • However, you must sign-in HERE to view your session. An email will be sent before the session starts with the Zoom Link.
  11. Where do I get the Zoom login information for the sessions?
    • This information will be emailed to each enrolled student on the day of the session.
  12. If I enroll in a course that is already underway, do I have to go back and complete earlier lessons?
    • Yes, if you want to receive credit for completing the course and receive a certificate.
  13. I have completed the Student Registration and School Details at the WETATi Academy website. However, the dashboard does not show any enrolled courses. How do I enroll in a course?
    • If there are no enrolled courses shown, that means that you have not paid for the program. You must complete the Registration and Enrollment process one time without existing the webpage. Please look at FAQ #1 for steps.  If you need further assistance please email info@wetatiacademy.org.
  14. Would a student enrolling in a course that is already underway start with the first session by clicking on the First session link on the overview page?
    • The student would need to attend the next scheduled session in the course. Zoom access details will be emailed before the session. Later, the student will need to go back and complete any earlier lessons missed. Past sessions are available on video. Additionally, the student needs to complete the practical lessons following every training session.
  15. Will participants enrolled in a course in the 35-week program be notified when it is time to start the next course?
    • Registered students will be notified when the next course will start. However, please remember that all lessons, practical exercises, and quizzes must be completed for a session before moving on to the next course.
