Overview
Students will engage in a 6-week series on Entrepreneurship that shows students how to turn their interests into income opportunities and their economic narratives to include not just being a part of the workforce but also being entrepreneurs and job creators. Students will achieve this by learning the basics of entrepreneurship and how to start a money-making business. By leveraging the Maryland State Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics, this course provides hands-on entrepreneurial experience that culminates in the 2023 WETATi Entrepreneurship Convention and iDEA Pitch Competition.
College Course Focus
This course is for students who want to be entrepreneurs and are ready to turn their dreams into reality. Students will discuss what goes into being an entrepreneur and learn from successful entrepreneurs how to make it happen.
This 6-week course is scheduled for March 28th, 2023, through May 9th, 2023.
