KEY STANDARDS
The Maryland State Curriculum for Personal Financial Literacy Education Grades 3-12 Standards
- Standard 1: Make informed, financially responsible decisions
- Standard 2: Relate careers, education, and income
- Standard 3: Plan and manage money
- Standard 4: Manage credit and debt
- Standard 5: Create and build wealth
- Standard 6: Manage risks and preserve wealth
Dates vary depending on Partnered School.
Practical Entrepreneurship Education (P.E.E.) sessions are either 1-hour to 90 minutes. This will depend on the Partnered School.
Weekly Microfocus Practical Enrichment assignment timing is at the student’s discretion.

It’s 100% in person. Depending on Partnered School it will be during the school day or as an afterschool enrichment activity.
Each grade has an independent weekly Microfocus Practical assignment to supplement each session. These microfocus are usually in person, hands on assignments.
